I kayaked out around the point there several years ago after launching from the park. I was surrounded by large schools of baitfish - shiner perch, herring/anchovies, etc. but I was not a good enough flyfisher to capitalize on the situation. It was clearly summer when these huge schools of fish are present. I'm dying to go back now that I have my head out of, well, you know!

We hiked the Park and the shoreline looks intriguing. Will be watching the tides and weather. On the list.
We tried it this fall. Found it to be too rocky and slippery clay and gave up. Might work better when more beach is exposed.
Sounds like a good spot to explore.
And it shall be done!!!
