Two PSFF planned outings, Ollala, Spencer, didn't occur due to severe winds. But overall October still had some great weather for getting out to fish.
I made 4 trips to my local still water, Kitsap lake. Most fish were the 1lb plants from Sept. I managed to catch a few fish each visit.
I made my first visit for 2020 to Nahwatzel and did OK, 8-10. Then afternoon wind/whitecaps ended the day.
I also visited Island lake near Shelton. The thick morning fog was eerie with no visibility and slow fishing. But the afternoon fishing was fun and doubleheaders were common. I didn't manage to catch any of the big cutthroat plants. Maybe next month I'll try again.
