This lake is 212 acres and is very popular year-round. It is heavily planted throughout the year with rainbow trout in the 11”- 14’ range. This year the approx. fish count has been over 16,000 fish. There is a good chance to catch fish in the 1-2 lb range at this lake.
This time of year I get on the water around 11:00. If interested in lake and fishing info meet me at boat launch area at 10:30. If we are lucky Rod Sand will be in attendance. He consistently catches fish here and we can pick his brain for fish catching tips.
Directions:
Northeast from Shelton approximately 7 mile on Hwy 3, turn on E Pickering Rd then right on
Spencer Lk Rd, 1 mile to boat launch access on left.
Hey Jim,
I'm planning to be at Spencer Lake Friday unless the weather becomes more unpleasant than is currently forecast.
