Lake St Clair (East), Saturday, 11/21, 11:00 am This is an interesting lake because of shape and depths. It’s like a small lake Tapps and has parts over 100’ deep. The East section/finger will be our focus and it goes to 70’

Hey Jim, I'm planning to make this outing. I have little experience fishing Western WA lakes, and I'm unfamiliar with Lake St. Clair. Will you tell me a little more about the lake, fish, insects and the flies you intend to use?
Sorry I just now noticed your post.
I fished this lake last year,Sept for first and only time. To me it's an unusual lake for depth. Which is 70' in the area we will be fishing. I believe the fish will be down, 30-40', since last year I used a full sink(#4) and caught a couple. Also the fish were gorging on glass worms a form of chrinomid pupa. We will looking to catch trout. I caught fish on a pale green booby last year but now have glass worms ready. But that was last year... Who knows what the fish will be after this time. See you on the water to chat more.
Hey, it looks like we might catch a weather break this trip. I must have some good fish karma or got lucky.
I’m plan on being there.
Rust color wooly buggers can be effective.
Thanks for the tip, Bryan. I'll bring a couple.
