South Fork of Skokomish River, Wednesday, 9/09, 09:00 am
Several of you are experienced fishing this river in Mason county near Union and Hoodsport.
This will be my first visit and looking forward to this outing. We will meet on the W. Skokomish Valley Road approx. 4 miles from the George Adams Fish Hatchery. If directions needed contact Jim Baker.

I can’t help myself… I’m sure there are still a few 5 and 6 lb fish waiting for us in this small lake in Mason county. Plus I need to clear my skunk from last trip there. I’m sure a few others can relate.
I'll be going to the Skokomish. Looking forward to it.
August 28 Greg offered to share river info and we did a fishing walkabout. My feedback is the S fork is very LOW. It actually went dry about a 1/2 mile down. I caught a few dinks before river disappeared. We jumped over to N fork which was flowing great. I was actually thinking to cancel this trip but I want to try fishing more of N fork.
Jim - the fish are still at Cady and still tight lipped. Got this on Friday, about 24", my personal best on a fly rod. Thanks for your help and instruction
on the lake, it really helped.
Great fish & pic... same area and fly pattern?
I expected you would be going back after the 2 pigs you caught early Aug.
Correct, same approach. I have found that anchoring is key to assure you get the retrieve as accurate as possible.
Hello. Is the Narrows outing for this Sat still a go? Hope so.
Yes sir... I plan to call you today as well. Another member is asking me questions that my limited beach SRC fishing can't answer. I hope to get your experienced feedback.
