Provo River
I have to be in the Salt Lake City/Provo area for work the first week of June. I’m thinking about taking some gear and fishing middle section of the Provo River near Heber City, which is said to be very wadable. From what the local fly shops have told me it’s mostly brown trout im the 15”-20” range. Have any club members ever fished this area? Any tips or advice?

Alan Yamashita is from Utah and is familiar with the fishery. Though he resides in Hawaii for much of the year, his contact information is on club roster. It might be worth an email to get some information about the area.
