A few of us traveled east of the mountains this week to fish Lenice, Dry Falls, and Rocky Ford. Along for the adventure were Jim Baker, Barry Miller, David Frazier, Rob Jensen and prior PSFF member Steve Kokita. Although wind can be a problem this time of year, the weather cooperated with light winds, plenty of sunshine, and temperatures in the 70s. Lenice fished well with all of us in double digits with fat, healthy, bows (and s few perch). Jim and Steve found the hot spot for 20 inchers a fly's length from shore at Dry Falls. Not as many fish, but spunky and healthy. Some of us failed to land a fish at the Rocky Ford petting zoo (choose not to include names), but Steve hooked into the fish of the trip. All in all a great trip that will be repeated.
