Christmas Came Early at Cady
Since a break in rain/wind I visited Cady again today. Fished 11:00- 2:30.
The detailed report from David on Cady also got me thinking of a different approach to be
in the "zone" longer. I tied up a new pattern I'm calling the Atomic Slush Booby. (will post pic later)
It was a Christmas early because it was probably my best day for the year and the best day ever at Cady.
I got 27 fish to net, had several LDR's and missed several more.
Majority of fish were 15-16", a few at 11" and one big boy at 20+". Only 3 nice cutts
I fished full sink, cast out 30', wait for sink, bounced rod and a slow retrieve.
Guessing the Booby was in the 10-15' depth.

Barry, take a look in the Fly-Tying section. Last week I posted tying pics on this fly I now call
the BAS fly. (Booby Atomic Slushy). If questions give me a call. I have tied up a few with different colors on the booby eyes and the slush material around eyes. I keep the tail the same color.
Everybody I've shared the BAS with catches fish.
I also tied up a few non-boobies, streamers, with this slush material and color combination. They haven't been tested yet, but I have high expectations. I'll send you a picture.
