Cady Lake Gets Some New Friends

Our second club-sponsored fish stocking took place Friday. This was in addition to two stockings provided by the state. So now is the time to say hello to some of the lakes 173 new residents — rainbow triploids averaging 14 inches. (Triploids are sterile fish that spend more time eating and growing fat than chasing tail, to rudely pun.)

The ability to amp up one of our favorite catch and release lakes is all due to the patronage and support from all of PSFF. We also help landowner Larry DePaul keep his private road to the lake neat and free of brush. Stay tuned for more news about other projects that will benefit the fly-fishing community.

John from Nisqually Trout Farms readies the slip 'n' chute for the load of triploid rainbow trout. His company has been producing stocks to private clients for about 30 years.

Tess was trying to leave the lake but kept getting distracted.
